I’m suggesting we slightly change our itinerary to just go for four nights in the hotelso we can catch the midnight ferry back to Portsmouth on the 18th. I will book cabins because the journey is eight hours and we can get some shuteye on the ferry. Return cost per person including Car Hire will be approximately 250 quid but this is supplemented by the fact we’re only staying four nights in the hotel and not five.
Colin and Phil M, does this affect your plans? Would you like me to keep it as five nights for you in the hotel?

Is everybody okay with this? The ferry leaves Portsmouth on the outward journey at 11.30.

Not a problem for me I am booked on the following nights ferry.
I may see if I can leave the day earlier but don’t worry about the hotel yet.
I was asking about the name of the hotel to check parking, notoriously strange in France.
As I told you I am arriving the same day as you but earlier.

I am confused, probably because I have not paid much attention.

What is the advantage of spending a night in an uncomfortable ferry cabin over a nice hotel (-is it a nice hotel?).

The last thing I remember about plans was that we were to travel in a bus thing, now we are back to hiring cars? Maybe we aren’t and are just thrown by the words “Car Hire"

In advance of the AGM could we have the options set out so that we can have a pointless argument for two hours before the curry?
