Just a bit of advanced notice on arrangements.

- The bus will be leaving Geoff’s place at 07.01. (Stu is staying with me and I believe Geoff has offered to put up Phil H on the night before.) 

- We plan to pick up Les O at 07.25 and leave for Newhaven at 07.29

- The ferry leaves at 09.30. Breakfast is included on the ferry

- The arrival time at Dieppe is 13.30 local time.

- Once we have fucked around with passport control, we have about a 2 hr 15 min drive to Port-en-Bessin.

Now we may have limited space on the minibus for luggage. It’s a 9 seater and there are only 7 of us so my worry may be unfounded.

However just in case can you

- Use a summer golf bag that is not bulky.

- Keep your clothes to a minimum in a flexible hold-all. No rigid cases. (We will therefore need to ban breakfast outfits and restrict hair care products to 150ml. I know this will affect one of us. No names; no pack drill.)

Anyhoo, looking forward to Thursday at the Amusement Park.

Bloody Hell!

Jens godfather got delivered directly to the beach in 1944 without all this palaver (of course it was a slightly different beach but you get my point). 

He recommends a landing craft rather than a ferry, and he says that he had a lot more kit to carry than we will have.
