Hi,
I just got done doing the same thing. I created a rake task to handle the migration.
Right now it handles custom csv files. But it could easily be converted to handle an Outlook csv format.

er...@webdesignbakery.comHey there,
I tweeted Michael about this, and he suggested I send through requirements about importing in contacts -
I currently have a client that I setup Fat Free CRM for, and he loves it, except that he's migrating over from having manually managed all of his contacts in Outlook. No problem, I thought originally, I would just export the contacts to CSV and import them in. But, there was no facility for it.
So, my requirements are very simple:
* Must have the ability to take a CSV of contacts, formatted from Outlook and import them in.
* Should be able to handle large files (my client has 1700 contacts, and the file is 425k, so it's really not THAT big)
* Should be able to prompt for resolution of conflicts
* Should be able to confirm how many were imported, how many failed, etc...
Please let me know if I can help clarify! Obviously, my format is very much shoot-from-the-hip style. :)
Thanks!
-Jason
