Service Instructions

Because of the low cost of the paper element, it is generally treated as a consumable and replaced when dirty. However, depending on customer preference, the paper element may be cleaned with compressed air and reused.

Compressed Air Cleaning

Carefully direct compressed air (100 PSI maximum) through the dry element, opposite the normal direction of flow. After cleaning, inspect carefully for holes or cracks. If damaged, replace element.

Cleaning

To clean wire mesh elements, wash in solvent or warm water and detergent in a container large enough for complete immersion of element. Rinse completely, drain, and either air dry or use compressed air. After cleaning and drying, retreat the element with oil-free adhesive or oil as described.

Hello I'm new to the site and to trials riding purchased my bike a couple months and loving riding it but have the problem of the tyre rubbing and wearing silencer I was wondering if any of you guys know where a replacement or possibly an aftermarket silencer is available I've spent a while on eBay and google with no luck

Rev3s suffer from the little tab on the frame to which the silencer bolts bending so it no longer holds the body of the silencer away from the tyre. Whatever you do afterwards, you're going to have to bend the tab back so there is just enough clearance for the tyre (and try not to drop the bike on that side, so you don't have to do it again). It should be no big deal - I recall doing it by just pulling on the silencer body until it came back in line - nothing broke, but then perhaps I was lucky. After that: if you have no hole why not leave it alone; but if you already have a hole then why not pop-rivet a tidy plate over it? Surely a new unit is going to be expensive!

Aye plating sounds like a good idea a have a mate who's a great welder had done a lot of aluminium may get him to make a sleeve for it and put couple rivets on .. Unfortunately there is a hole .. I was bendin the tab but after a drop and maybe bending again the supports got weak so replaced them but will go for the sleeve

I was missing the silencer and the venturi inlet. Now I could've just bought them online and called it a day but I'm a cheap bastard and like to make my own things. With a lot of help from Reef Octopus, I was able to get the exact dimensions of the parts that I needed and was able to start designing.

The Terrafirma range of 'de-cat' down pipes and silencer replacement pipes are intended to improve the performance and economy of Land Rovers.Save a fortune when your catalytic converter fails by fitting a Terrafirma 'de-cat' down pipe and enhance the performance and economy by derestricting the exhaust system. UK MOT regulations suggest a maximum weight limit, above which a catalytic converter is not required. This permits replacement exhaust systems to be fitted. These pipes fit directly to the original system and require no modification. Remove the power restricting and vulnerable centre silencer and fit a Terrafirma free flowing silencer replacement pipe and enjoy the new throaty exhaust sound.Made from 1.5mm 409 stainless steel these pipes will considerably outlast the life of the existing original system. 409 is easier to bend and weld and is not prone to cracking due to vibration like other grade of stainless steel. This listing is for a Terrafirma Silencer Pipe Replacment Discovery 2 Td5 and V8 1998-2004

**NOT DOT APROVED**.

This is my 2nd Good life dog silencer, (my first silencer got left out in a downpour and quit working), but both work AMAZING!!!

I have 2 neighbors approximately 400 yards (not feet) on each side of me. I have the cone from my first silencer and I've been able to reach both of them. I just wish I had another one, so I would not have to stop and rotate it. I'm so grateful for this equipment and have told EVERYONE that has problems with barking dogs about this.

Thank you Good life, Shawn from Missouri

We fell in love with our house once we saw it with our realtor. The house checked all of our check boxes. 3 car garage. 2900 sqf 5 bed. two of which are master bedrooms modern design thoughout with. 10 foot ceilings on main floor and custom luxury upgrades throughout including a 2nd spice kitchen.

main floor den and bathroom with shower across the hallway The house had everything we wanted except for the backyard neighbours mutt pitbull constant barking .

This was a strong consideration on my mind as we did the house tour with our realtor. Backyard neighbour dog was set on automatic yap yap yap. yap that evening and it got me thinking .????

I decided that i am not going walk away from a great real estate deal because of a stupid dog. I decided I will deal with it when we move in . The house originally listed for 850k when it was completed.Year later was listed for 650k with fierce competition from 14 other buyers We won the price war and got it for 700k

?? we moved in last august

backyard neighbour dog wasnt happy about our arrival. every trip to the balcony. or backyard was was met with constant barking or growling in addition to regular no reason barking. This thing would go on for hours barking here and there at all hours of the day.

i feel the dog loves his own voice or is scared of its own shadow.

After suffering with this nonsense for a year i came across dog silencer max. ???.

after reading multiple mixed reviews of either working or not .i decided i have nothing to loose . Suffer more barking noise or move.

I decided to roll the decide and hope this dog is not immune to the Dog Silencer Max.

i understand different breeds may react differently to this device

Lucky for us. our house is a walk out basement and that side of the new new development is built on a hill. Soo my. 2 nd floor bedroom is a good 1 story above. the neighbours 2 story level. giving dog slilencer mwx a bordseye view of neighbours backyard. ?? Using google map i used the measure feature. i measured my back yard neigbours house is 75 feet from the window of my master bedroom. Being at an elevated vangage point and close proximity. dog silencer. max has a great ovetview of the backyard neighbour entire lot.

After using the device for few weeks i noticed immediate chsnge in dogs behaviour . now that we are on the bwlcony or backyard it barks once and stops or sometimes does not bark at all and tryes to ignore us givng. us a side eye.

Now i have the tool to torment the dog with handy remote control

i make it run away and hide behind the garage lol ?? payback is a bitch. PITBULL mix

I also noticed that neighboir neighbou ralso has a dog. a smaller one that likes to yap once a while. from my vantage point i was able to take care of that pissant as well. that yard on the left of the yard in picture is within 150 feet to the other fence from my window.

Sure is! Do you know anyone who is an aircraft mechanic? If you do, ask them to get you some nut plates. They are basically nuts that are attached to a small plate that you can rivet on to the inside of the end caps. Tell them to get the floating type nut plates, that way, the nut has some play just in case the hole doesn't line up perfectly. the nut is basically held it place while you put the end cap and baffle together. Then all you do is screw it back together. Make sure they get you short screws that match the diameter and thread pitch. I've been in and around aircraft industry all my life, so I'm not sure how many of you guys know people that do that kind of work. I'm laid off right now ( one of the drawbacks of the airline industry) or I'd get them for you myself. I don't know if any on else uses this type of nut. There are clip type nuts out there, but I don't think they would work really well in this type of aplication.Don't forget to use red rtv when putting the end caps back together. ?

Another idea is to have someone weld some nuts to the inside of your end cap and baffle end cap. They need to be lined up perfectly though to work, since they won't be able to move side to side like a floating type nut plate.
