Hello and thank you for any help!

I am trying to perform demographic inference from the SFS and am running into some issues with figuring out the tpl file. I attach a diagram of the models I am trying to define in the tpl and est files.

As you can see, it is a 3 group branching model. Running fsc27 with the attached tpl and est files, we get the following
> fsc27093 -t ${PREFIX}.tpl -e ${PREFIX}.est -P -c 1 -B 1 -0 -m -C 1 -n 100000  -L 50 -s 0 -M -E
 >Error: deme 807416884 going extinct while still having remaining lineages

I would love if someone could look over my tpl and est files and help me see what I am missing.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Kokoro,

I think
TDIV1  0   1   1   RES1   0   1
should be
TDIV1  1   0   1   RES1   0   1
in the tpl file.
In the first expression, the deme 0 is absorbed by the deme 1, and it's no more extant (so cannot be a donor of migration).

Hope it helps you!
