It is designed for graduate students, postdocs, and researchers with a basic background in population genetics and some programming experience.

Course highlights include:

  • Core population genetics concepts and coalescent theory

  • Hands-on sessions using tools such as msprime, fastsimcoal27, PSMC, MSMC2, IMa3, and more

  • Practical topics including model testing, bootstrapping, and handling ancient or low-coverage DNA

Schedule: Daily sessions from 2:00 to 8:00 PM (Berlin time).
