Fastreport with Xalier

I have seen this anouncemente in xailer web. They say that will adapt fastreports for xailer and also for harbour.

Buenos días,  Efectivamente ya somos socios tecnológicos de Fast Report, como podéis comprobar incluso en su página Web.  Actualmente estamos desarrollando nuestro propio sistema de enlace con Fast Report IV que está muy avanzado y que esperamos sea publicado el 1 de julio como producto independiente de Xailer.  Nuestra idea ha sido intentar seguir la sintaxis del producto de Sergey lo máximo posible y esperamos conseguir un grado de compatibilidad muy alto, sobre todo en las operaciones más básicas y habituales. No obstante, hemos pretendido mejorar su integración con Xailer y su IDE para así conseguir una experiencia de trabajo igual que la que se puede percibir al utilizarlo desde Delphi, por ejemplo. Nuestras librerías de enlace para Fast Report podrán ser utilizadas desde cualquier entorno que utilice Harbour o xHarbour, no obstante, será con Xailer desde donde se conseguirá el mayor grado de integración. Three weeks ago, during the Xailer's user meeting in Cancun, Ignacio announced that they have signed an agreement with FastReport to develop and distribute a brand new version of the FastReport Library for (x)Harbour.

This new library tries to keep compatibility with th Sergey's previous job (based on the OLE component), but it includes new enhaces such a native library, full access to the most recent features of FastReport IV, and a real access to the FR internals from (x)Harbour.

Xailer team will also release a new native "FastReport component" for the Xailer's IDE, such the one for Delphi or .NET versions of FR.

However, the new FR for (x)Harbour version developed by Xailer Team will be also compatible with other popular GUIs and also with console based (x)Harbour applications.

Hi, Rene;

In my opinion, If Xailer now also includes a fast reports component, it places the product at a clear advantage over all the other harbour GUIs.  Congratulations to Ignacio and a big thank you from the harbour community.

I wonder what their plans are for those of us who already own a copy of frh_frax, will we have the option to upgrade to their new release?

Sergei said that when we paid 300€ one part was for his work and another part to pay fastreport inc.

 

I hope that we will not have to pay another time fastreport´s part. Anyway I agree with you that this is a very, very good news.

In the Fast report user manual under Graphs, it is stated that fastreport can be used with the Teechart Pro, How can this be integrated with FRAX/FRH ?       -------Original Message-------
