Sort on Fast report

Hi Spirin

How can i sort a field(s) in MasterData in fastreport.

The data is that is sent to Fastr is not sorted , but i need to
indicate in report designer that the data must be sorted .

What don't you index the database before FastReport ?

In Xharbour , it is Easy.

Hi

My aplication is Xailer with SqlServer Database

Pratically i use Array's Browses to show data to the user.
I Send an array with the data to FastReport. I can only sort an array
with one column before i sent it to FR
I need that in the designer i can specify a column to be sort .

Hello, Pedro,

FastReport do not cache any data, it read it directly from your
source. So, you need to sort your arrays. But, of course, you can do
it by calling Harbour/Xailer functions from Fastreport-script. Look at
OnStart/StopReport events, call them in your sorting functions.
