Hi

I am trying to copy multi million of files from a USB 3.0 drive to a RAID array with verify MD5.

After a couple of million files I get the error: Can't alloc memory(wDigestList)

What does that mean? USB disk is functional and dest. drive has lots of space free

thx

Is FastCopy version v3.40 (x64) ?

FastCopy v3.24(x86) or earlier has this problem.

Thx for the answer.

Yep newest 3.4 x64 - I have not treid any other version yet.

When I disable verify it works flawlessly - so thats what I use now.

Feature wish:
re-calculation of speed in Mb/s files/s each 30-60s - I copy 50M files and the speed really varies a lot depending in fragmentation, so a more "Live" information would be great

I uploaded v3.40(x64) debug version in the following URL.
https://ipmsg.org/archive/tmp/FastCopy_v340dbg.zip

Please try it. (recommended buffer size is 32MB. If buffer size is big, debug dump size will be more bigger)

If the wDigestList problem occurs, it issues an exception and outputs fastcopy_exception.log and fastcopy_exception.dmp.

If an exception occurs, please send me these files.
Or upload this URL. (my google drive)

Hi

Even after copying close to 2 TB again I cannot reproduce this error anymore - probably an issues because I have set the buffer higher than 32MB
