Move is not moving, only copying....

Even though all the settings and parameters seem to be correct, FastCopy is not MOVING files, only COPYING them to destination.

What might I be doing wrong?

actually I have the same problem:

When I move a big file using FastCopy, it will copy the file to destination and then delete the original one.

I think FastCopy should not work like this because the src and dest are on the same disk, so it is only a move/rename operation, it doesn't need to read and write the whole file.

Actually when I use windows explorer to move big files, the operation can be done in a short moment.

Thanks, Minka, for corroborating my complaint.  I tried many times on various files -- FastCopy copied to same drive, but did not delete source file after copy completed.

Hopefully others here can further corroborate the matter.

maybe you should check the FC software log file.
