I kept getting an error that seemed to indicate I didn't have enough available virtual memory whenever trying to copy or move stuff, even a 1.5MB folder. What's even stranger is that I had plenty of memory, both physical and virtual (64GB, with ~7GB free at the time, plus an 8GB page file). I had this issue with 3.06, and it remained after updating to 3.41. This is on Win10 Pro x64. Only after freeing up a bunch of memory did it start working properly again (I had a 44GB RAM Disk in use, so I removed that). Here's the error I was getting:

Can't alloc memory(mainBuf)(The paging file is too small for this operation to complete.1455) :

I think it is specified too many buffer.
256~512MB is enough.

Ok. I had it set to 4GB (don't remember why, I guess I thought it would improve performance), so maybe that was too high for the amount of free memory I had, though it seems it shouldn't have been since I still had almost twice that free plus the large page file. Anyway, I've changed it to 512MB now.

I'm getting the same error, even though the program was working just fine a minute ago.
I have 64gb RAM with 40gb available
Buffer is set to 16384 and the pagefile is set to minimum recommended 800mb
As soon as I unchecked "Use OS buffer" FC started working again. After test I enabled "Use OS buffer" again and it still worked.

So the question is what happened?
