Start off the New Year right with some dirt work & great views on Cuesta Ridge!
Come out and join CCCMB/FASTA and all the trail work volunteers on Saturday, January 3rd on West Cuesta Ridge. We will be working the Morning Glory Trail from top (Cuesta Ridge Road) to the bottom (The Eucs). Meet at The Eucs tool shed at 9:30am. This location can be reached by driving up to the last gate on Stenner Creek Rd. in SLO. Park there and hike or bike up to The Eucs tool shed (approx. 1 mile), or park at the top of Cuesta Grade and hike or bike up to the beginning of "Shooters Trail" and down approx. 2 miles. Trail work is usually completed by 1pm. Bring water, gloves and long sleeves. There is less poison oak on the Morning Glory Trail than many others, but it is still there and it can be easily avoided. The recent rains have given us great working conditions, and a good opportunity to get some long-overdue dirt work done in key areas.
Tools, snacks, and instruction will be provided.
Happy New Year & hope to see you there!
