This is the short ride report.5 riders at the start in Honeoye Falls. It looked like to me 4 went long and I went and took the short route. It was windy but tolerable as it was mostly a side wind heading south.Got into Honeoye and the sun was out (in abundance).I dreaded the climb out of Honeoye as I knew it would be into the West wind.I,d rather climb a hill than ride into a headwind. The hill will stop where as the wind usually won,t.
As I get to the top of the climb on I see an ominous cloud formation in what looked like streaking skys on the horizon (usually means rain) but as I got onto Big Tree a Line of groppel envelopes me.Only in Rochester (maybe not) but snow in MAY.I got a fairly nice push back to the ride start.I skipped Larned which it seems is always into the wind and uphill to boot.Happy Mothers Day to mothers out there.
