For once this ride works on my personal schedule and Martha is
conveniently out of town so...
Why not come along? A few who shall remain nameless have already signed
up for the 53 mile route (3000 feet of elevation gain so nothing you
can't handle):

The ride is essentially flat.
It’s only 56 feet of elevation per mile.
The ride Kevin, Chris and I did a few weeks ago had 448 feet of elevation per mile.
So, pfft, walk in the park.
