Hello,

Have there been any efforts to build the LAMA planner for Windows? We are using it in a larger planning tool currently -- but most of our end-users use Windows.  I've tried to compile the current codebase using mingw, but there appear to be some quirks that are causing LAMA to fail to build.

Thanks!

Dear Andrew,

we made some efforts to make everything work on Windows, but
unfortunately so far we couldn't find volunteers with access to a
Windows development machine willing to try it out and sort out the
remaining issues. If you could help us with this effort, I'm sure other
Windows users would appreciate it, too. The relevant link to the issue
tracker is:

Cheers,
Malte

Update: thanks to Andrew's testing, we can confirm that the planner
works on Windows (using Cygwin), so we now have three working platforms:
Linux, OS X, Windows. :-)

I've added documentation about the supported platforms and their caveats
to http://www.fast-downward.org/ObtainingAndRunningFastDownward.

Cheers,
Malte
