Attached is a copy of a fairly new fuging tune I wrote for words by William Cowper, beginning "God moves in a mysterious way." This is a text I love, but has never been a part of any of the traditional songs we've sung in singings or church. I tentatively titled it GOD MOVES.

When writing the fuge I made a error in counting the syllables/notes. I decided it was easier to double the words (trust him, trust him) rather than try to redo the entire section!

Any comments will be appreciated.

Ask for the old paths, where is the good way
For ask now of the days that are past...
Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land.

Robert, I like this tune a lot, and it's a nice change from always singing that text to Mear.

Brother, thanks for your comment. It is always good to have another option to highlight a great hymn like this one. Maybe this one will provide some such service.
