We’re gathering again on the back porch in Eagle Rock this Sunday, September 1st, to raise a joyful sound and sing from The Sacred Harp. I hope you can join us. We have plenty of loaner books.

• On another very important note, please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5th, when we will sing for our dear Jeff Begley, Sacred Harp singer extraordinaire, whom many of us had the great pleasure of singing with over the last decade+. Jeff, by some magic, appeared at singings all over LA and all over the country, making friends wherever he and his wife Arieta went. 

He died on Good Friday, and we miss him. We’ll join with his spirit on our old stomping grounds at Angels Gate to celebrate his life well-lived.
