Parking: There is street parking (including a few handicapped spaces) near the Davies Building where we’ll sing, but there is also a parking lot on the south edge of Farnsworth Park on Lake Ave, just down the hill from the Davies Building.
Covid Protocol: Each person attending must provide evidence of covid-testing each day. A photo of a negative test or the actual negative test will work. Once you provide the evidence, you’ll get a wristband for that day. So secure your covid tests now! We will have a LIMITED number of tests available for those who forget to test first, but don’t forget.
Contact Tracing: In the unlikely chance that somebody does get covid at the singing, contact tracing is very helpful. Here is a link so you can add your name and email to the list in advance. Doing it before the singing will save time on Saturday..
If you want, you can sing with a mask, but this is not required. The room is large and well-ventilated. And please, if you’re feeling sick at all, even if you test negative, stay home.
Dinner on the Grounds: Local singers are strongly encouraged to bring a dish (or two?!) each day. Kitchen facilities are fantastic, so if you need a fridge or an outlet, we’re set.
Social: On Saturday evening at 7:00 there will be a social gathering in Altadena, not far from the convention venue. All singers are welcome. The exact location will be announced at the singing. There will be some food provided (a pot of chili, a salad, a vegan dish), and if you have any leftovers from the day’s dinner on the grounds, please bring them. Of course, you may want to eat something before the social. There are many restaurants in the Pasadena/Altadena area.
See you soon!
