Hey all, my question has its start from the tunes i led at the memorial sing for miss pauline, i led 264t, great god attend,a.K.A, duke street in the coop- er book. As some of you know, this tune is found in mainstream hymn- als. That got me to thinking about one of my favorites, sine nomine a.K.A, for all the saints. Every so often i catch myself try- ing singing this in shapes,as i am a tenor, it is the tenor line i am try- ing to do in shap- es. I do know that st. Anne, a.K.A, oh god, our help in ages past is in oberlin harmony, and ginny landgraf and i tried this. can someone help me figure out how transcribe for all the saints into 4 shapes, if it has not already been. thanks, mary list kalamazoo, mich

Lilypond (www.lilypond.org) is a free program that outputs beautiful
sheet music. It's trivially easy to tell Lilypond to print your music in
shape notes (Sacred harp, Aiken, etc) instead of round notes.

Sine Nomine has two arrangements.  The organ arrangement has a great walking bass line (Jane and I used it for our wedding introit)  but it is not written to be sung in parts.  VW also arranged it in four part harmony which is competent but sort of dull.  It would be great if someone could redo the organ arrangement in a way that could be sung, but I am not sure that is possible.
