The page scans from The Colored Sacred Harp (1934) that are present on Internet Archive are missing page 60, which probably complete the song IT IS FINISHED which starts on page 59.

Can I trouble you to send me a page scan if you have a copy of the book?

Best,

Will

Ironic tune not to have an ending.

I'm not sure if I can replace the file on archive.org with an updated one or if I just have to upload a whole new file, but I will try to correct this.

I’m sure your scan would be much clearer. On the other hand, I’m unsure whether it even should be on the Internet Archive without permission of the copyright holder.

None of the material on archive.org in the colored Sacred harp is under copyright.

The only material that could potentially be under copyright is the preparatory material added in the modern hardback editions. That material is not online at archive.org, unless you're referring to a different version than the one I uploaded.

I have a scan! I will send it to Will separately, as I'm unsure of the copyright status.

I might be wrong, and please correct me if so, but as far as I can tell all books from before 1964 are out of copyright if the copyright was not renewed, which doesn't seem to be the case for the Colored Sacred Harp (or, for that matter, the 1936 and 1960 Denson revisions). Before 1964, copyrights needed to be manually renewed 28 years after publication, but for publications after 1964 this process was made automatic. So copyrights now last for 95 years after publication. (So we'll be waiting a while for the 1966 Denson to be out of copyright...)

I'm no expert in copyright law, but here's the source I found for this: https://guides.library.cornell.edu/copyright/publicdomain
