Here’s some really exciting news!
As part of his brief stay in the Bay area, Tim Eriksen will teach a one-hour special Sacred Harp Singing School on Sunday, August 3, as part of the regular Sunday Healdsburg singing, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Old Felta School House, 1034 Felta Rd., Healdsburg.
Tim will teach the first hour, then stay to sing with us the remaining hour+ (the singing’s a little more than likely to slip past the 3pm end time).
If you haven’t yet made the trip to Healdsburg to sing, the 1906 jewelbox one-room schoolhouse is a true gem of a singing space! It’s bound to really come alive with Tim’s input and encouragement to new and seasoned singers alike!
Tim is teaching this singing school on a “pass-the-hat” basis. But I think it would be nice if we thought of it as a $0–$10 sliding scale.
