Sing Sacred Harp at interfaith Peace Walk this Sunday, 9/11

Our regular second-Sunday singing in Palo Alto will take place as usual from 2-4pm, Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, room 1, 505 E Charleston -- AND --
Beginning about 2:30, Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice is sponsoring an interfaith walk for peace that will pass right in front where we sing. Walkers should pass by the church beginning about 2:30. We have been invited by the walk organizers to move the singing out to the sidewalk so the walkers can experience the beauty and joy of Sacred Harp singing. Think of your favorite peaceful song to sing! We'll sing until 4 p.m., then you can walk out the back of the church property and join the interfaith picnic sponsored by American Muslim Voice!

Sponsoring organizations include Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Baha'i, Buddhist, and other faith communities.
There should be adequate parking at the church -- but just in case, let me know if you're coming so I can reserve a parking place for you.
