Hey guys! I hear there's this convention tomorrow! Let's just recap, because there's about 1000 different events going on over the weekend. First up - you took the day off to cook, right? I'm getting ready to whip up 2 different casseroles plus key lime pie. Then I hope to see some of you for a relaxing evening at the Blue Danube coffee house in Alameda, from 6:30-8. Alternatively, if you find yourself closer to San Carlos, you're invited to drop in to the convention hotel anytime between 4 and 7.
On Saturday we'll sing all day, followed by a Composium featuring new songs in the style of the Sacred Harp, as well as a social at Chris Thorman's house.
On Sunday we'll sing all day again, and in the evening David and Susan Fetcho have invited us to their home in Oakland for a wind down. David can't make it to the convention site this year because of his recent surgery, so I look forward to bringing some fellowship and perhaps some singing to him!
Then on Monday, we'll head up to the Marin headlands for a picnic and singing. If you're still standing by Monday evening, join us in Berkeley for our regular singing from 7:30-9:30! (Learner's Group WILL meet at 7.)

Looking over this full schedule, I feel blessed by the richness of the singing community here in the bay area! (Also, tired. Better go take some vitamin C.)
