Dear friends,
Last week, my friends and I visit Manado, Sulawesi Utara, and particiapted in an exhibition in WOC (World Ocean Conference) 2009 and CTI (Coral Triangle Initiative).
Through this international event, we are encouraged and committed to save the ocean, save earth. About 76 countries were there. Hillary voice from a documenter film said that US agree and support any thing to save the ocean.
President SBY closed the event.
The result of WOC and CTI can be read in internet, i think!! So many people write about that.
By the way,
It's the first time for me to visit Bunaken. Kawai so much!!! Wonderful!! I also visit some places there like Tondano lake, Tomohon, Bitung, Kawangkoang, etc.
Leaving office for days, and visit them really a great energizer for me. Wah!!

I'm really flattered. Btw, I know quite well about Barangcadi. I had visited the Island for more than once. I have a friend who happens to be its local. I have quite a good memories of the island. it used to have a beautiful reefs. But I'm not sure it still there. I really wish I could visit the island sometimes.

This month, My office will plant 500 trees in Barangcaddi island (about 45 minutes from Makassar port by boat).
I planted mango trees, one for my son and other for my daughter.
Let's continue our cultural tradition, one man one tree.
Go green...save the earth..save our next generation....

I've just met Yasu in Jakarta. What a surprise he suddenly appeared in my office. We were having lunch near my office and share stories of each....you know...family stuff. It was relieving to meet one of FASIDs, as I did with Suwannee last year. Hope to see the rest of you in another chance soon.
