Yasu-san, thank you for your email.
I really wanted to attend the reunion but I couldn't because of my business trip.
I'll work for the World Bank from April in Washington, D.C.
Shio, let's have a reunion by the middle of March in Tokyo.
I miss you all and keep in touch.
Best,
Risa

I just checked my old email account which was happened to be added to the FASID mailing list and found all these emails. Not sure if this mail would be successfully sent but I am giving it a go. Anyway, apologies for my unintentional but long silence.

I regret that I had to miss the reunion dinner the other night as I had a prior family commitment but hope to be able to join next time around.

This is Meg from Tokyo.
Thank you for your cheerful mails.
I am very happy to hear from you all.
I would like to see all of you again if possible.
Now I am working in Earthquake Research Institute, Tokyo
University
however, my basement is tsunami disaster areas: Tohoku,
Indonesia and West cost USA.
I stay in Tokyo less than half a year.
To tell the truth, I spend very stressful days for
Tohoku's miserable situation.
I am very disappointed with my boss, scientists(especially
seismologists), their word "SOUTEIGAI" and attitudes.
Hope everything will be going well with you and your
family in a new year!
Meg
PS. Tamaki, Thank you very much for your kind hospitality
for my young friend in your institute.
