Ski racing and the masters community has lost a great friend this week
with the passing of Bob Bernard.

Bob was an enormously influential member of our racing community. The
masters racing programs we enjoy today are in large part due to the
passion and organizational skills he brought to our sport.

He will be deeply missed, yet his legacy lives on with all of us and he
will not be forgotten. Bob was a fierce competitor, a good friend, and
a true gentleman.

News of Bob's passing has been posted on the Far West Masters web site
(http://farwestmasters.org) and a page has been created here on this
group to acknowledge some of his many contributions and
accomplishments. Anyone with anecdotes and memories of Bob can join
this group and share their stories.
