Farm to Family Full Moon Festival
December
9th, 10th and 11th, 2011
Gates opening on Thursday the 8th
to extend the camping weekend. The Drum Circle Fire
will be roaring on Thursday night with some heavy
drummers to keep it going . . . Plan on it . . . The
line up is posted on the web site and nearly complete.
We are still waiting for some confirmations, but the
bands are listed now on the schedule, and we will make
changes if necessary and send out a message. Picking Jam
and Singing at the Bill Monroe Tent on Thursday.Online advance ticket sales are open. . . $20 advance for the weekend. . . that's Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. $20 regardless of which day you arrive. Sunday only is $10 at the gate, and Sunday is the only day that has a day price. RV reservations are open . . . the link is on the web site, front page center. The Vendor Information and Application link is open and on the web site. Upper right column of front page. The Volunteer Information and Application link is not yet open. Please check back, it will be open soon. Send an email to don@farmtofamily if you are interested in Volunteer Information. Many have asked, so to let you all know, Uproot Hootenanny will be back and is confirmed for Friday the 9th. . . if you didn't see them in October, come out in December and catch their set, that's Friday the 9th from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm. . . those guys had jaws dropping all around at the October show. Festival fire at the stage area, camp fires all around, and a hot drum circle fire. A cozy weekend of good food, good friends, and good music. Pickin' at the Bill Monroe Pickin' Tent and the Drum Circle at the Drum Circle Fire each night after the stage show.
