Subject: 2012 Grower Survey, Organic Tree Fruit Association

Dear Farmshed Friends,

I hope all is going well with your spring/summer adventures.

We're working on a 2012 Grower Survey (see message below) and if you think this might be something that growers in your area might be interested in participating in, please share with your networks. Thanks for considering and wishing you much success and abundance with your projects this year!

with appreciation,

Erin Schneider
Coordinator, Organic Tree Fruit Growers Association

 Dear Orchard Friends,
I hope all is going well with the season whether your adventures take you behind the desk or in the field. I am working on a Grower Survey Project with the Organic Tree Fruit Grower Association and wanted to invite those of you involved in growing fruit, to take a moment and complete our 2012 Grower Survey. Thank you for your consideration and for sharing with your members and networks.
OTFA is a professional association dedicated to serving the interests of organic tree fruit growers and advancing the organic tree fruit industry through education, research, and advocacy.
You can access the link here:
    2012 OTFA Grower Survey

This survey is part of an Organic Tree Fruit Association (OTFA) Specialty Crop Block Grant award we received through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Your feedback helps OTFA learn about the needs, challenges, and opportunities Midwest Organic Tree Fruit Growers face and help us better address, respond to, and serve the needs your needs, plan future educational events and seminars and identify potential collaborators in on-farm research projects.

Please respond to the survey by June 30. The survey should take you ~ 15 minutes to complete. Please note that you are not required to list your contact information and you may choose to remain anonymous with your responses.

Let me know if you have any issues accessing the survey. Results will be shared in a final grant report at the end of 2012. We look forward to hearing from you and being of service to you in the future. Thank you for your time and invaluable feedback! We wish you a successful growing season.

    With gratitude,
