Guys,

Good news! Shonda wants to talk to us. It would be great to get your feedback on the product and ask her to introduce us to a bunch of farmers we can interview.

Mark, can you write back indicating whether you want to/can be part of the call? I figure we can schedule it for 7:30am our time/9:30am MS time.

Dear Kerem

Great to hear from you! I would love to chat. How to you look mid next week?

Also, I have cc’d a colleague from a think tank I’m involved with called AGree. We are part of a group looking to bring young and first time folks into ag, and one of the things we are looking at are web based tools etc to help these types of folks. Would you mind if she joins the call next week? You might want to even schedule some time to speak with her on the side as well….

  Best

Shonda

Hi Shonda,

We talked back in March when you gave a lecture at Stanford on ag investing. As you might recall, we are a group of Stanford GSB students working on developing online tools for growers to better manage their operations and make use of the data that is available on their farms. We are currently focusing our efforts on cost accounting/key performance indicator tools that we think can be of immediate use and solve pain points of both farmers and 3rd parties such as yourself. We realize that the current products such as Quickbooks or Finpack are either not user friendly or not tailored towards farmers' needs.

To this end, we'd love to have a half hour chat with you at your convenience; it would be incredibly helpful for our product development and we could also tailor it towards your needs so that could possibly better evaluate the farms you are investing in. Please let us know if you have any availability over the next few days.

Hope all is well and I hope you had a great 4th of July!

Kerem and the Farmulate team
