Subject: Internal Demo Day
Hi Everyone - thanks to those of you that could attend today and discuss hiring. Please answer the surveys Doris sends afterwards as they really help me improve!
I'd like to get a sense of where people are with their products so we are going to do an internal Demo Day (just me) on Tuesday the 21st. Plan for 20 minutes. We'll start at 10:00am and schedule in 20 minute increments. Doris will be coordinating the scheduling. It's two weeks from today so plenty of time to get your products together. :) We'll do another Venture Series Session that day for lunch and cover how to build a Seed or Series A Pitch.
For the Demo - I want:
1. A quick introduction of the team (pretend I don't know who you are or your backgrounds)
2. A brief description of the problem the product is attempting to solve.
3. The DEMO.
a. Show how a user will engage with the product
b. Describe how the user might find out about the product
c. Describe how the customer would pay for using the product
4. Have a slide showing the current features of the product and what you would add in the releases over the next 12 months.
5. Leave a few minutes for Questions
Thanks,
JV
