Hello - when I look at the RSS from Scripting News or other Fargo sites, it is well-formatted in the expected way, with the usual information like channel, generator, description and so on. E.g.:
http://scripting.com/rss.xml

After customizing my Fargo templates, my RSS is "flat".

Can someone say why Fargo would fail to render RSS, or, what governs the correct rendering of RSS in Fargo?

My almost-ready-to-go Fargo blog:

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

The feed is correct, only its being served as text/html instead of text/plain or text/xml so the browser is rendering it differently. Basically hiding the tags and leaving the content.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew, thank you very much. I see now that I can do View Source on it, and see the raw feed. Still, I wonder what I did to make it render as HTML and not raw xml like other Fargo blogs.

By the way, would you happen to know if other feed tags like the Dublin Core ones or copyright...:

<dc:creator></dc:creator>
<copyright></copyright>

...are an option in Fargo? Appreciate your good help.

Sincerely,
Rick
