... between the top page of a Fargo site, that is /, and a blog post's permalink page?

It appears the #template entries have a single HTML structure with %bodytext% at the center, so, can anyone say how Fargo knows the difference between a generic top level index page, showing all posts, and a permalink page?

That is -

* top page - many posts, no breadcrumbs or arrows, comments at the very bottom
* inside permalink page - one post, breadcrumbs and arrows, comments, author info at bottom

Appreciate it if anyone can say or has insight on what governs this or where to look. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Rick

Different types. The stories are type outline, the other pages are type bloghome.

It is explained in the content management section of the Fargo docs.
