Free all-ages show this Thursday, 5/29 @ Stanford

Hi friends. Two bits of news:

1. Good news & bad news: Sadly, we didn't advance past the third round
of the Emergenza Festival. When you play at 11 p.m. on a Sunday night
and your fate rests on how many fans you can bring to vote for you,
things don't work out so well. Thanks to all who came out for the
three rounds we played.

The good news is "Watching A Wreck" was selected for Emergenza's
compilation CD, which will be handed out in future stages of the
festival. That can't hurt.

2. We have a free all-ages show this Thursday, May 29 at 8 p.m. at the
Axe & Palm cafe in Stanford University's Old Union building. See
details and directions below. We're the only band booked, so we'll
play from 8 p.m. until we run out of songs or Steve collapses.

By the way, if you need to contact us, our email is currently on the
fritz. Should be resolved in a few days, but you can contact

Directions:
- Old Union is located across from the Stanford Bookstore and near
Tressider (the student union). The best bet for parking is the
Tresidder lot.
- From Campus Drive East, turn onto Mayfield (The Row) toward campus.
- If you're coming from Junipero-Serra/I-280, you want to turn left
onto Mayfield and if you're coming from El Camino Real, then you
should turn right.
- Mayfield will make a left, and then take an immediate right onto
Lagunita Drive.
- Parking will be to your right, and Old Union is straight ahead
through White Plaza.
