You can certainly customise your dashboard!  Search the views for webtopDashboard* to see examples of how the cards are built.

For example, the FarCry branded image ./dmProfile/webtopDashboardBrand.cfm <-- however, don't override this as it may change; we're not happy with the standards for locating these dashboards just yet.

Then, take a look at the webtop under ADMIN > General Admin > Webtop Dashboards

In the absence of any Dashboard we display everything in @@seq: order.

Create your own dashboard.  Select the cards you want to show for the specific roles you nominate.  You can have multiple dashboards :)

Inline images 1

In this example, I've selected everything except the Dashboard Brand card.

Its on the Roadmap to allow manual sorting of dashboard cards but for now it will always rely on the @@seq view decorator for sequence.

Let us know how you get on.

Added the question and answered it here :)

This format seems useful to me.  Not many folks asking questions though (hint, hint).

All the best,

Should the dashboards still be working in latest RC or under doing more work?

The dashboard works fine for me until I create a new one. e.g.:

Am I missing an important step somewhere?

Thought I had tried that (especially while looking at FC6 and FC7 not playing well together) but thank you, it appears to have resolved it.
