Role Based User Security

Does FarCry have Page/User role based secruity built into it?  I see that you can add users for admin purposes...but what about page specific sections?   Let's say that I have  a marketing section that has some marketing reports on it that I only want certain users to be able to view when they are logged in.  I guess the first question should be "Is there 'login' functionality built into farcry?

You set that in the site section.  As an admin, go to the site section, and right click one of the navigation nodes.  Select the permissions option.  Then you can set what individual roles can do on that part of the tree.  Basically, you want to take away View rights for anonymous.  That will automatically send them to the login form.
