MediaStudio is an easy-to-use platform to manage, measure and monetize your media on X. Tell your story your way with this one-stop shop tool for managing content on X for your entire organization, whether you have one account or fifty.
To access Media Studio, go to
studio.x.com and log in using your X credentials. You can also go to X.com, click on the More button within the side menu and then click on the Media Studio button.
Generally yes, though some functionality, like adding users to your account, will not work when adblockers are enabled. Either turn off your adblocker, or allowlist the
x.com domain in your adblocking software. The page should then load upon refresh.
Most commonly this occurs when the handle was just created; wait 24 hours and try searching for the username again. If after 24-hours the handle does not appear, please reach out to your account manager for assistance. If you do not have a account manager, you can file a support ticket here:
The Digital Media Studio is an open multimedia lab for the Appalachian State University Boone campus. The purpose of the DMS is to provide access to current software and hardware, but most of all we provide help using digital media tools and technologies.
The Digital Media Studio is on the Lower Level of Belk Library and Information Commons in front of the Tech Desk where the Film/DVD collection used to be. See the library floor plans for the Lower Level map.

The Ask Us Service Desk is located on the first floor of the Library and provides in-person help by answering questions about the Library, Campus, or three Institutions. This service also loans anatomical items, technology items (such as phone charges and calculators), plus course reserves, or textbooks, for some classes.

Please note that our studio spaces and editing rooms may only be reserved for their intended purpose, which is recording audio/video or editing. They are not available for use as general meeting rooms or computer lab space.

The Media Studio is a content creation and production space that includes an 18' by 18' stage area under a lighting grid, acoustic treatment, curtains and a green screen, flexible equipment and furniture, and a custom-built control desk that acts as recording booth and editing suite. The Labs and Media Studio are open Tuesday - Sunday from 4pm-10pm when classes are in session.
Let your imagination run wild - you can create just about any media with the space and equipment available. It is a large space that will accommodate individuals or teams, and has equipment on hand to help you capture your content.
Everyone must attend a brief in-person safety/training session before reserving or using the room. Once completed, this training will be good for one calendar year.

Reserving the Studio:
Users may request a reservation for the Studio for two-hour periods via the online reservation form. Users are expected to return all Studio furniture and equipment to its original configuration and return the room key to the circulation desk by or before the end of the reservation period. Late fees may be levied against users who fail to return the room key by the end of the reservation period. Requests for reservations will be fulfilled in order of priority. Coursework and instructional material production take priority over personal or extracurricular projects. Requests for reservations of the Studio for such use will be fulfilled first, followed by other requests for reservations of the Studio.
Standards of Conduct:
The Studio is only available for use for the intended purposes of video production, audio production, and photography. Users are required to abide by the UWF Student Code of Conduct, UWF Computing Resources Usage Agreement, all Library policies, these Terms of Use, all other applicable University policies and regulations, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Electric instruments, amplifiers, or any other device that is loud enough to disturb others in the Library is strictly prohibited. Users are not permitted to create materials containing visual depictions that are obscene or contain pornography.
Copyright and Fair-Use Policy:
Infringement of the intellectual property rights of others is prohibited. Users must adhere to all applicable state and federal laws regarding intellectual property, including copyright laws. Users who violate intellectual property rights can be held liable for attorney fees, court costs, reparations and or academic plagiarism violations. Any participation in the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials, is subject to the loss of access to the Studio, disciplinary action, and civil/criminal penalty.
Fair-use for non-profit educational use is limited. Students should contact their instructor for details regarding a project. Faculty and staff should be aware of fair-use and its application in certain circumstances. Works that contain copyrighted materials that are displayed outside of the classroom environment may be in violation.
We require confirmed reservations for all users of the room. Four-hour sessions can be reserved in advance using the form below (subject to the listed hours of availability). Same-day or walk-up reservations are not available. The studio and associated equipment will be checked out to a single user. This individual assumes all responsibility for the room, its contents, and the actions of others they allow to use the space. The capacity of the room is eight (8) people.
The College of Business and Economics is fortunate to have an on-site, state-of-the-art media studio available to faculty to aid and support the production of media content for both online and traditional courses.
To be notified of canceled appointments, please sign up for the Media Studio Waiting Notification List . You will be asked to enter your Email address. After entering you email, you will be added to a WebEx Teams Space named "CoBE Media Studio Waiting List". Canceled reservations and newly available time will be added to the space. If you have WebEx Teams open, it will notify you of new messages in the space. You are free to leave and join the list at any time.
The College of Business and Economics offers a Self Service Studio to record videos using high-quality equipment without technician assistance. The Self-Service Studio is not designed to replace the full CoBE Media Studio. Core course content should still be recorded in the CoBE Media Studio. The goal of the Self-Service Studio is to provide a higher-quality option for breaking news updates or quick one-off videos. Videos recorded in the Self-Service Studio typically have a lifespan of no more than one year. If you find you are using the video for more than that, you should schedule time in the CoBE Media Studio to record the video.
Part of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, the Digital Media Studio contains both a professional-grade recording studio and a collaborative learning facility offering media-rich work areas, advanced creation technology, powerful Mac workstations, printers, and scanners to support graphic- and video-related projects for students, faculty, and staff.
The Digital Media Studio consists of two wings, located in the EWFM Library, 4th floor south, breezeway entrance. To the east is the studio area which houses resources for video recording including green-screen, photography, audio recording, video editing, and media duplication. This area and its resources are available to all members of the Lehigh community by appointment only and with the active involvement of professional staff.
