FTAPCCI in association with US Consulate General is organizing a Meeting with Dr. Tony Boccanfuso, President, University Industry Demonstration Partnership, USA on 18^th August, 2016 at 4.30 p.m. at J.S. Krishna Murty Hall, Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.

Dr. Anthony (Tony) Boccanfuso possesses a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and has more than 25 years of research and commercialization experience managing a variety of administrative, programmatic, and strategy initiatives for academic, government, and private sector firms such as The University of South Carolina, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 2007, Dr. Tony has led the University Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP – uidp.org), a project oriented, membership organization committed to improving partnerships between the academic and corporate sectors.  Dr. Tony has vast experience in forging and nourishing University-Industry partnerships across the U.S.

The objective of the meeting is to understand Why University-Industry Partnerships Matter, Innovative Models in University-Industry Partnerships, Best Practices in University-Industry Partnerships: What Does and Doesn’t Work and Building Strong University-Industry Partnerships.  The academic-corporate engagement improves the lives of people and the human condition through the development of transformational products, new medicines and creation of new information and approaches that lead to better decision-making.

There is no participation fee, however prior registration is must.
