And a shout out to Allen Goldstein, who put everyone's whispers to
rest by showing up to his first Krystal competition. Those who put
him on their fantasy Krystal teams are reaping the rewards.
Of course, congrats to Tim Janus for the sweet burrito win. And while
the Atlanta competition looked like a Guzzler event, it was Pat B who
hit that personal best on his way to the big Krystal table.
The Meatsweats, as always, impress with their bonus sign action.
More updating action after Memphis, and hopefully before grits.
Does Tim's burrito destruction qualify for record status? The IFOCE
went on the record as saying
"The current burrito record is held by Eric "Badlands" Booker, with 15
in eight minutes. The Big Kahuna burrito at Costa Vida is 18 ounces
full of rice, beans, sweet pork, and cheese. Breaking Booker's record
will be no simple task."
In a couple articles there was mention that the Booker record was set
with 5 ounce burritos.
So in 8 minutes Booker downed 75 ounces of burrito. (15 units of 5oz)
Even fully extrapolated at that pace, he would do 112.5 ounces (and
22.5 units of 5oz) in 12 minutes.
Tim put away 193.5 ounces. 193.5 > 112.5? And Tim ate 38.7 units if
the burritos were 5oz. 38.7 > 22.5?
Just saying.
Liz, here is a link to my webpage which has some comments and yes
another picture with the Fantasy Eating team sign.
