I'm updating the score card after an awesome Turkey Day accompanied by
a sweet Turkey Bowl. Even though you might have thought otherwise, it
turns out the cranberry sauce competition was waaay grosser to watch
than the turkeys. Maybe it was because we were watching it on very
full stomachs, but I think it was because y'all looked looked like
some competitive eating zombies chowing on brains. (Great idea for a
Halloween competition, by the way.)

Anyway, I come to you with a question. We had discussed awarding
participation points for tiered contests (Broadway on the Beach, St.
Patty's) as one per full contest, as opposed to one per level. But
these Spike competitions are throwing me off a bit. Should everyone
who participated in Vegas only receive one participation point?
Should there be one participation point per show aired? Should each
contest be counted totally separately?

I think I'll award each contest separate points on the 50 point
breakdown still, since they really are full and separate competitions
with lots of competitors (different from B on the B, and St.
Patty's). Maybe that answers my participation point question--one for
each competition. Does that jive with you guys?

50 points awarded for each contest works for me. Sorry the
cranberries were so gross to watch. I tried to keep it neat by eating
the whole can like an apple which maybe made it not look so gross.
However, it still tasted gross. I did the math and I ate about 381
times the amount of cranberry sauce on the show in 8 minutes than I
had previously eaten in my entire life. (1 tbsp = 14.787cm^3 = 14.787
g = .0326 lbs; 12.44 lbs / .0326 lbs = 381) Previously I ate 1 tbsp
and thought it was so gross I would never eat it again.
Happy belated Thanksgiving!

Okay, I just decided to treat each competition as separate, so points
for each Vegas contest. I also added the St. Patty's Day Chowdown to
the points tally, which does affect some teams. Team PAIN and the
Meatsweats are closer than ever to overcoming their closest rivals.
If the Meatsweats can come up with totals for Janus's Thanksgiving
feast for the hungry, that would certainly help things along.
