Don't Modify the dark grey cells and all will be good.

Mike,

Is Armor the Only Damage Capacity a ship gets? what about shields?

This current excel sheet is as per the current rules, but if shields add to the Damage Capacity then I'll need to modify it.

Shields prevent damage like point defense and lasers and sandcasters. If
the damage gets through the amount of damage it takes to destroy a ship
depend on size and armor. If nothing gets through, you're fine. But

Do lasers prevent damage from fighters and missiles at a full 0.5 per size or is their defensive rating diminished?  The entry in the rules seems to suggest the defensive capacity is less than the offensive capability.

Then the excel sheet should be correct, let me know if you find errors.
Interestingly enough I noticed a few errors of my current ships, and will list them in my packet when I send it in. (I didn't use this excel sheet all the time and should have. hehe)
So atm two of my ship designs have significantly less Damage Capacity listed then they should have.

Ty, I love VLOOKUP in Excel. I used to use VBA and code in Basic to do what vlookup does much much easier. =D

Yes.

I found a bug. I think. If I pick 2 laser turrets and 1 armor, it spits out "L1-1A1/2".

There';s a bug when it comes to showing the damage points of the ship. It only seems to include the Armor value near as I can tell.

Here is a new one that adds TR and CV (Forgot those, thanks Joey!)

As for Laser Turrets, I did them both ways although adding 2 to Quantity would format the ship correctly.
It may be the conversion to google, because one shows L1 the other L.5-L.5

Any way this fixes the TR/CV ommision

Then I must be using this incorrectly. I wasn't even on Google when I noticed that.

If I delete everything and pick nothing but "Laser turret...2", I get "L1-" as the ship designation. If I add 1 armor, I get "L1-1A1/2". That still isn't right, though, even ignoring the extra 1. Shouldn't it be L1-A1/3? Or am I still totally confused?
