如何让你一眼认出:这是Google的软件?

一个老外写的:

• 首先，它是免费的（Google的东东 都可以免费使用~）
• 程序会在后台自动升级，无须你手动--省力~
• 程序升级的速度很快
• 安装程序包都是很小的一个（除了Google Earth，没办法，这么好的3D软件没办法精简）
• 会询问你：是否设置Google为IE的默认首页？
• 帮助文件都在在线帮助，没有本地的帮助文件
• 可能稍后就会要求你登录你的Google帐号，给你更多的在线选项
• 会有一个搜索框 方便你查找
• 它只有一个东西（除了Google Desktop）甚至大多数都是绿色软件~
• 使用方便 ---易用性强~
• 几乎所有时候 你查看软件，会发现它仍然处于"测试"阶段（因为Google将不断提高...而无止尽！）

Most of the time, a Google software:
* it's free
* it self-updates
* it updates fast
* it has a small installer (maybe except Google Earth)
* it asks you to set Google as default search in Internet Explorer
* it doesn't have a local help
* lately it asks you to sign in to your Google Account to get more options
* it has a search box
* it does one thing (maybe except Google Desktop)
* it's simple to use
* most of the time, you'll find it in beta

绿色软件与“ it does one thing ”是两回事的吧。

我翻译原文说的是：它只有一个东西（除了Google Desktop）

 

随之 我在后面加上一句： "甚至大多数都是绿色软件~ "一点都没有错！

请看清楚我的措辞"甚至大多数"是表示另外一句话，并没有混为一谈

Google Talk，Gmail Notifier，等等 都是绿色软件。
