I'm Focusing on Contacting GSE Employees That's the Lynchpin

If we can get the employees to protest and turn against the conservatorships we can force the situation to resolve itself.  If GSE employees went on strike the government would have a pretty tough situation.

I'm encouraging them to all take positions in the companies so that they can benefit from the risk of protesting the conservatorships.  Such an action would put us center stage in the media.

My argument is that conservatorship hurts every GSE employee's career prospects.  It affects how much they can be paid, whether or not they can be promoted, and it harms their ability to build wealth by being unable to benefit through stock investment in their own companies.

If each employee took a 5k-10k stock position they stand to benefit very significantly if their actions are successful.

What I need from people reading this is help spreading the message to the employees on Linkedin.  I've already contacted 300 employees from Fannie Mae.  But there are 18 thousand people total.

This is not a good idea.  You are asking people to put themselves in a position to be fired in order to protect your investment.  Almost none of the consequences you have laid out have any factual basis in the real world.  Their income and future income prospects are not in jeopardy, their ability to obtain a promotion is not affected by the conservatorship.  If the employees are strong workers, they will be allowed to earn more money and achieve promotions based on their own merits, whether at FnF or if they take their talents elsewhere.  This is a selfish way to try to get attention for what you want by putting other people's livelihoods at risk.  Not cool.

Why would they do that, they're getting a new HQ with all the perks, including above grade staircases.

I am not opposed to your idea--neither is the sainted Maloni--but know there are rumors of Treasury/FHFA imposed F&F job cuts which will make current employees reluctant to create any attention generating actions.

New HQ or not, in their current mode, neither needs 5000-6000 person work forces, which I believe is what they have.

Just saying.

Also was told some of the social media sites might have "GSE groups, i.e. current and former employees) on them.
