My photograph and essay collection Hip Hop Apsara: Ghosts Past and Present is out and pretty, and Time Out Chicago loves it:

Finally, we're asking for your help with something. A few weeks ago, following Representative Todd Akin's remarkable thoughts on reproductive biology, The Ladydrawers and some of the good folks at Our Bodies Ourselves went on a road trip to deliver sex ed materials to Missouri congresspeople. Now we're collecting some info in the comments section of the latest Truthout strip for a Congressional Pop Quiz: If you head over there and let us know what you think congress needs to know about sexual and reproductive health, we'd greatly appreciate it. 

• We're collecting questions in text form (here only) or as line art to create a Congressional Pop Quiz on gender, sex, and reproductive health.
