Hi! Since i saw that there was support for DeviantArt using anthologies have been making a couple for stories i follow. One slightly inconvenient thing it does is that before each chapter it includes a page with all the metadata info for it, title, "genre" (which is just a list of tags for some reason, i suspect i'm doing something wrong there), published date, etc,

Is there a way, for anthologies, to not include these pages? I've found pretty much no info on how to customize anthologies at all, so sorry if this is already in a doc somewhere.

In addition, i configure a cover for the anthology editing it's metadata, but it doesn't include it. Do i need to configure the cover elsewhere for anthologies?

I assume you're talking about the FanFicFare Plugin Anthology feature
and that the metadata page you're talking about is FFF's title page.

The anthology feature downloads individual books and then uses EpubMerge
to package them together.

There's actual very little configuration available for the anthology
itself.

You can prevent individual stories from having title page by setting
include_titlepage:false in personal.ini for each individual [storyUrl]
section.  Or for the site as a whole under [www.deviantart.com].

I don't know what you mean exactly by 'configure a cover for the
anthology', but this may help:

Unless i'm mistaking it, looks like to be able to add a cover to an anthology i have to hardcode said cover on the personal.ini, which would then apply to all anthologies. That can't be correct and i'm likely misunderstanding something, right?

Regarding anthologies how do you make it, so only the first book in the anthology has a title page and the rest don't since sometimes on deviantart there are multiple chapters posted on multiple posts.

Admittedly, the Cover Settings wiki page is more about how to set up to setup automatic cover generation that specifically setting for one particular anthology.

But there are instructions for keeping custom covers under Advanced Details and Use Cases such as I want a Different Cover Image for Only A Certain Story

And the section What about FanFicFare Anthology Books? mentions:

By default, the cover of the first story in the Anthology will be the Anthology cover. You can use the force_cover_image setting as described above to set the cover for the first story in the Anthology using the first story URL to effectively set the Anthology cover image.

FYI, I would suggest taking this convo to the Plugin thread where there are more plugin users--this list is mostly for CLI users.

Regarding Kolb's question: You would set include_titlepage:true only in the first [storyUrl].  But keep in mind it would only have info about the first 'story', not all of them in the anthology.

As I said, there isn't very much config available for anthologies.

Thank you and thats fine since its a multi-chapter story and you don't neeed title page for each chapter. Thank you for answering.
