I just joined this conversations, so I hope I'm participating correctly. StoriesOnline just changed their login procedure today (September 30) and now when I try to update a story I get a partial chapter that seems to assume I am not logged in. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Can you provide a story URL that exhibits the problem?

Just because it's something you see a lot doesn't mean I see it,
especially on sites I don't read. Always include a story URL.

I can confirm the same problem. Here's a link to a story from storiesonline:

Oh joy. The login for that now goes to a different domain entirely.
And it's now a multi-step process with username/email and password
collected in separate POSTs.

And now that I have login working, there's something broken in the
chapter page parsing. Which is a nightmare. That somebody else wrote.

And skipping that bit, the downloaded chapters aren't complete either?
Nor do they match what I see in browser.

So despite navigating the login to apparent success, the server isn't
giving the logged-in pages.

I've exhausted my energy for this for today. Perhaps someone else will
be interested in working on it, I've opened a github issue and pushed a
branch with my work on it so far:

Turns out it's a triple POST now.

I think I have this working. Test versions in the usual places:

I've posted a test version of the plugin here:
http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3084025#post3084025

Test version of CLI for pip install: You'll have to get it from the
testpypi repository. This works for me on Debian:

> pip install --extra-index-url https://testpypi.python.org/pypi
--upgrade FanFicFare
