Hi, first of all, sorry for my english, I'm not an english speaker ó.ò

I use a Kindle 4, with the Calibre v0.9.20 and the FFDL v1.7.10. I come here because I don't know what more I can try to solve my problem.
I use two websites for downloading fanfictions, AO3 and FF.net, and with the both of them I have the same problem:

I have a fanfiction downloaded in my Kindle with the plugin, and after a month, I want to check if there are updates. So I go to Calibre, go to Library, go to FanfictionDownloader, and click "Update Existing fanfiction Books" (in EPub always). The update at this point goes OK, and if I open the .epub file from the Library, I can see the new chapters. But, when I want to pass that file to the Kindle, it's when the problem start.
I select the file and click on "Send to Device". At first sight it seems that the program is doing something, buuut nope. If you go to Device and open the file, it's not update. If you disconnect the Kindle of the computer and open the file, it's not update. The file is only update in the Library.
I tried to erase the file on the Device, and then, Send to Device again, but, shock it! it doesn't work. The only way that works is to erase the file from the Device and from the Library and download again the URL. I've tried to change configurations but I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I'm sure that is my fault, because I don't found anyone on google with the same problem >_< It's getting me nuuuuts!!! xDDD

Do you know what it's happening? Maybe I'm not doing the steps correctly. I left here an screen capture of my configuration, maybe it's just one of that options.

Byji,

I think what's happening is that the story was converted to mobi or azw
for Kindle, but it's not being converted again after the epub is
updated. So the same old file is sent to Kindle again.

Delete the mobi or azw files for those stories and convert them again
before sending them to Kindle and it should work.

If you turn on the 'Delete other existing formats' option in FFDL, I
think that will fix your problem for future updates. That way FFDL will
delete the non-epub files automatically on update.

Hi, it's me again :P

I noticed that the problem that I explain in the first post happens again U_U...
Now I have the Calibre v0.9.29 and the FFDL v1.7.24, with the same Kindle 4.
The options of the plugin remain the same, except for the "Delete other existing formats", that now is activated.

Something change in the last updates that affect to the chapters issue?

Thanks for your time ^^

I suspect you still have the same problem and just don't realize it. :-)

I suspect what happened is something like:

You updated the epub with "Delete other existing formats" turned off.
It updated the epub, leaving a now-out-of-date azw(or mobi).

You realized the azw is out of date, turned "Delete other existing
formats" on and hit update. But because the epub was already up to
date, FFDL didn't change anything, again leaving the out-of-date azw.

("Delete other existing formats" and all the other settings are saved
separately in each library, btw. So if you're switching between
libraries, you'll have different settings. That could cause you to have
left it off accidentally.)

To fix those books, re-convert to azw again.
