fanfiction not downloading

For the past few days I have been trying to download this one story from fanfiction.net called "fate's favourite" by the fictionist.  (I also came across the same issue with another fic a couple of weeks ago but ignored the problem)  I have tried to download it in different formats and at different times over the past week but it never downloads.  it will just show in the list of previously downloaded fics without the link (which I assume means that it has not finished downloading completely).  at the same time, however, other fics with larger word counts have downloaded without problem. 

Sorry if I'm not coming across clearly... but thank you so much for this application!

If it's one with a lot of chapters, it may just take too long.

Generally, you can successfully use the CLI or calibre plugin version
in those cases.

Please post the story URL if you want me to do anything more about it.

If it's https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5725656/1/Fate-s-Favourite , then it's 151 chapters, which will take some time.  One option is to break the download into parts, specifying only certain chapters to be downloaded by adding the chapters to be downloaded in brackets after the URL:


https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5725656/1/Fate-s-Favourite[1,10]
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5725656/1/Fate-s-Favourite[11,20]

And so on.  Do each as separate downloads, though - don't try to list all of them in one session of the downloader - I would expect you might confuse the poor thing.

Thank you all for the replies!  As Tara Li suggested, I put brackets containing a smaller set of chapters after the link, but after about 30 min., the story fragment hasn't yet finished.

I don't know really what I can do about it (I'm not the brightest when it comes to computers) so here's the link in so that you can try working with it.
