Pretty much as the title says, I'm downloading my bookmarked fics from spacebattles/sufficientvelocity/questionablequesting. However copy pasting the screen gives URLs in the following format

https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/shattered-harmonies-worm-x-star-trek-x-over.1158/threadmarks/unread

https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/shattered-harmonies-worm-x-star-trek-x-over.1158/page-10#post-4202481

FFF plugin in Calibre seems to interpret this to download only #post-4202481 in the thread and will overwrite existing fic, if downloaded previously.

Is there solution to this? So as to force it to ignore post urls and download the normal way

Thanks in advance

No, there isn't.

Using a post URL as story URL is a valid and intended option.  Before threadmarks came into regular use as chapters, it was common for an author to have a post listing all the 'chapter' posts and FFF will use it as the chapter list.  It also works for one-shot stories in single posts.

The /unread URL should work fine as a thread URL.

i ended up just making a hacky script that strips the extra out at the same time it pulls from my "to download" folder in gmail.
its simple regex so easily in the limit of free chatgpt/etc with a few run throughs.

though if you don't need to make it a googleapps script and pull from Gmail it would be much simpler.

don't use the version that mentions a chrome extension while it works my security is very hacky since i couldn't figure out how use googles app auth at the time.
"the chrome extension is to deal with all the ones like this https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/posts/37339970/ as simply opening them in a browser and recopying the link resolves them into a normal thread link".
