Got error "HTTP Error in FFF '403 Client Error: Forbidden for url" when trying update or download any work on ficbook.net.

If this started recently, ficbook may have started blockng FFF because people were overloading their servers trying to download too much at once.

There is a setting that lets you change the user agent string that might temporarily bypass that, but that could end with your IP blocked, and a bunch of other people's, since servers tend to block ranges of IPs.

Yes, this started less than 24 hours ago

About user agent...

Trying using it, but now i get "HTTP Error in FFF 'Page not found or expired in Browser Cache (see FFF setting browser_cache_age_limit)'(428)"

All i add in personal.ini is

use_browser_cache:true

use_browser_cache_only:true

browser_cache_age_limit:-1 (by default there was 4.0, not work, try -1 - not work, try 1.0 - not work)

browser_cache_path:C:\Users\HiTeeN\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache

What i did wrong?

Kinda doubt that, i read fics on ficbook for 5 years now and never heard about FFF, so i dont think that enough people uses it to create trouble for site.

I am seeing that too.

Currently, the use_browser_cache (and use_browser_cache_only) features
only work for fanfiction.net.

However, the use_cloudscraper feature does work for all sites and does
work for ficbook.net right now for me:

[ficbook.net]
use_cloudscraper:true

Note that you can still be blocked using this depending on the 'threat
level' the site is operating at.

Im not too worried about being blocket, ill just reboot modem and IP will change.

Except that's why servers will block whole ranges.  Your ISP only has a relatively few IPs to hand out, so a server will often block x.x.x.0-255

It's just easier that way, even if it blocks some other users who share your ISP.

Huh, didnt know that. 

Well, i'll think about it when or if i get blocked. Can't just not update fics, after all. Maybe i'll use proxy or something, idk.

Same mistake since yesterday, again, but not for all works. For example, rn i try to update 4 fics, 3 of them can't be, 1 update perfectly fine.

use_cloudscraper:true is on, not disabled it.
