Beginner's problem
I need to build a fancybox gallery with no thumbnails. Just klick on a
simple link to see the first picture from the gallery and then scroll
or navigate by mouse. Can anyone help me with this ASAP.
thank you!

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$('a.fancygallery').fancybox();
});
</script>

<a href="images/01.jpg" rel="gallery" class="fancygallery">simple
link</a>

<div style="display:none;">
<a href="images/02.jpg" rel="gallery" class="fancygallery"></a>
<a href="images/03.jpg" rel="gallery" class="fancygallery"></a>
<a href="images/04.jpg" rel="gallery" class="fancygallery"></a>
etc ...
</div>

to navigate by mouse, load the mousewheel js plugin as in http://fancybox.net/howto

Another BEGINNER QUESTION>

How would I change this code to click on a simple link to show selected image? I assume its shouldn't be that different from this code..

If I understood correctly, replace
"simple link"
by
<img src="thumbnails/01.jpg" alt="" />

assuming that you have a smaller version of your big image in the thumbnails subdirectory
